Two people were arrested in connection with running a meth lab out of a Mount Airy motel room.

Mount Airy police charged Harvey Woods, 37, and Kelley Woods, 31, both of Pilot Mountain, each with 2 counts of felony possession with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance, one count of felony maintaining a drug dwelling and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Investigators executed a search warrant on a first-floor room of the Hollows Motel Thursday morning. Meth, prescription pills, marijuana, multiple items of drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of money were found in the room, police said.
